Wildflowers are beautiful and unique. Some grow in the forests, protected by large trees. Some flowers like moist, almost boggy soil. Others grow high above treeline. They seem to grow straight out of the rocks. The colors are amazing and varied also. What amazing beauty God has created to show forth His glory!

Field Trip to Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco
Every Thursday night, I meet with my "missional community" group from Resonate Church. We discuss the sermon, answer questions that invite sharing our faith and struggles, and pray together. Today we went on a field trip to San Francisco--Ferry Building, Farmer's Market, and tea at the Sheraton Palace Hotel.

Filoli Estate in May
Time for another trip to Filoli. This trip, roses were prolific, and the sky was cloudy. It was a perfect combination for a visit with the macro lens. Foxgloves were abundant, also. Peonies were just beginning to blossom.

Back to Sunol Wilderness Regional Park
It was another glorious day at Sunol. I tried trekking poles for the first time; they were great for the steep slopes.
