- that we will serve to God's glory
- that we will be a blessing to the children and the staff

Thanksgiving Day Celebration
A turkey feast was enjoyed by all. We were blessed by a larger group because Bernie's mom, Joyce, and Bill joined us. We also were blessed by Bernie's dad, George, and Pat.
Some napped and some played Monopoly while we waited for the turkey. Occasionally, the pool table saw some hot matches.
Grandpa's remote control car saw some action before battery depletion.

Mini-Missionaries to Kenya
Rafiki Village Kenya is located just outside Nairobi. There are 96 orphans being cared for by 9 Kenyan caregiver mothers and 1 man. The youngest orphan is 4, and the oldest is 16. The school includes the orphans as well as 94 more students from the community. There are 23 teachers in the school. Rafiki Village Kenya is now ten years old.
Rafiki is a Christian organization that rescues orphans and nurtures them to become contributing citizens of their native countries. They are taught a rigorous academic curriculum as well as the Bible.
For more information, you can visit the website: www.rafikifoundation.org
Howard and I will be leaving on January 7 to serve in this village for one month. We would love to have your prayers for:
health
safety
endurance for long flights
service to God's glory
We will post along the way as we are able.
